Description of Project:
The 458-car, 154,000-square-foot parking structure augments what had become a congested parking lot site for the expanding insurance company headquarters. The three-level, post-tensioned concrete parking structure features one pre-fabricated, self-contained, attendant booth, two fully automated entrance and exit arm-gates, one hydraulic passenger elevator and two stairwells. One of the challenges of the project that Klorman successfully addressed was accommodating the expected displaced employee parking spaces during construction.
